Calls come in and are assigned to a team of the technical support team. The
queue stays around approximately 20 calls with 4-5 incoming per day. This
is not a 24/7 job.
Working with development teams to resolve issues and then testing the
resolution. Aptitude to anticipate issues that could arise within
development Performance work Business logic then SQL are priority works to
provide functionality and performance; Relational Database Concepts; SQL;
Database query tools; SDLC/ADLC Methodologies
Experience analyzing data solving problems and troubleshooting to provide
solutions

*An example of a scenario*
A new customer is coming onboard. They are not familiar with the system so
they ended up entering their data incorrectly. In this case support might
be engaged to fix their data by figuring out what is wrong and writing SQL
code to fix the data in the database.
A call might come in stating that there is a bug in the business logic –
something is not working as expected. Their job is to figure out if the
issue is that the expectations are wrong (i.e., the customer thinks the
system should behave a certain way) or if the system is wrong (a bug).
When identified they will either apply a fix (if simple) or send the issue
to the development team to address.
