Eight years of browser based development using Visual Basic, Macromedia MX, ASP, VB.Net, ASP.Net and SQL Server development experience is required. Must have good SQL development skills including writing Stored Procedures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment are required. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Must have demonstrated experience in successfully delivering software solutions. SCOPE OF SERVICES This project will redesign the four major computer applications and eight stand-alone PC applications within Home Care Services Program (HCSP) into a unified web-based solution that will serve as the central comprehensive computer system for HCSP. The proposed system will both complement and enhance the current functionality of all the current systems used by HCSP. Using the latest web technology, this project will assist HCSP in the re-engineering of its business functions. This effort will enhance the quality of life for the client population by facilitating timely transactions, improving communication, automating document exchange, streamlining operations, supporting program expansion, and making available essential information from legacy systems such as WMS. The needs of management also will benefit. The new design will provide ready access to analytical and statistical reports, promote the effective management of staff and workload, increase billing efficiency, and improve inter-agency operational flows, including with the Medical Insurance and Community Service Administration (MICSA) and its automated components. These developers will be part a team responsible for programming the Long Term Care application. They will be expected to work closely with fellow colleagues on both the business and technical sides of the organization. The ideal candidates must be able communicate with the business user at a business level, and analyze business needs to determine appropriate design solutions.
