Application Developer Rate: $DOE Raleigh, NC 6 months Contract Required * Minimum of (5) Five years of experience in Applications Development and Database design * Minimum of (2) Two years of experience in n-tier client/server systems * Minimum of (5) Five years of experience in design and support of Database structures in MS SQL server 7, MS SQL 2000, MS SQL server 2005 * In-depth knowledge of structured programming techniques and languages (Java, Javascript, VBA, VB.NET, C#) * Advanced knowledge and experience with AJAX * Experience with third party components including controls from Developer Express * Knowledge and understanding of web standards to meet disability requirements and web design for use with screen readers (i.e. JAWS) * Thorough knowledge of the principles of application systems development and its associated lifecycle) * Ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet tight deadlines Preferred: * Knowledge and experience in the following packages: Visual Studio v 6.0, Visual Interdev, Active Server Pages (ASP), VBScript, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, and ADP.
