*Role Description**:*
We are searching for an OpenLink/Endur Configuration Lead. The
Configuration Lead will architect, configure and setup the Endur solution
such that it meets the business requirements and can successfully process
the Crude and Refined Products transactions from deal capture through
settlements. This lead must understand the client's business concepts, and
must know how to configure the OpenLink/Endur software. They will be
responsible for translating business requirements into a solution design,
modeling transactions through the system to ensure that the business
requirements are met and thoroughly understanding the capabilities of the
system such that they can suggest alternative approaches to the
configuration of the product, as well as suggesting enhancements to the
system that would achieve the business objects. This Configuration Lead
will liaise with the OpenLink/Endur business teams, as well as with
technical development team who will be responsible for coding the required
AVS scripting. We require a Configuration Lead for each of the three
following areas:
- Operations/ Scheduling Lead Configuration - must have experience with
the gMotion product, a Gas and Power scheduling application, dealing with
gas pipeline operations and scheduling. Responsible for the setup and
configuration of gMotion, as well as the new cMotion product from OpenLink.
- Front-Office/ Risk Configuration lead- Responsible for the setup and
configuration of Trade Manager for deal entry and Market Manager for risk.
Must have experience in deal capture, trading and risk, price curves, P&L
and exposure reporting to translate the front- and mid-office business
requirements into a solution design for Trade Manager and Market Manager
modules of the systems. Ideal candidate is deeply skilled in both but will
consider candidates who have familiarity with either.
The OpenLink/Endur Configuration Lead/ Architect will be responsible for the
management of the configuration of the OpenLink Endur solution from design
through testing/ deployment. This involves managing the resources
responsible for the delivery of the configure system (and documentation
supporting that configuration). Planning and project management skills in a
delivery organization are key for this. Additionally, this resource will
use their Endur / Trading experience to ensure that the integration of the
configuration with Core and Custom builds is architecturally (functionally
and technically) sound. They will support the management team in managing
through to conclusion functional issues as they arise through the build and
test processes.
*Key responsibilities may include:*
- Creating overall application design and solution architecture
- Developing business process and functional designs
- Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
- Developing and testing business solution components and prototypes
against detailed functional designs
- Application build, test, and deploy activities
- Planning and executing data conversion activities
- Driving test planning and execution
- Ability to meet travel requirements
*Basic Qualifications:*
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in OpenLink/Endur, configuring
the software product, modeling trades and various transaction within the
software product, and ensuring that the client's business requirements are
met. Ability to interact directly with both business and IT professional to
deliver the solution.
*Preferred Skills:*
The Openlink/Endur Configuration Lead should have experience with:
- Energy trading or Commodities trading experience
- Systems implementation in an Energy trading or Commodities trading
environment: specific Knowledge and implementation experience with OpenLink
Endur
- Front, mid, and back office processes
- Familiarity with crude and refined products trading for both pipeline
and marine based activity
- Program and project management skills (e.g., estimating, work planning,
project reporting and tracking, issue management)
- Implementation experience with any of the other various trading systems
including Sunguard, Murex, TriplePoint, SolArc RightAngle, ICTS Trade
Capture, Allegro, etc.

*OpenLink/Endur Technical Designer/Developer*

Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
Trained and experience in AVS Scripting (required) (6 months – 1 year min)
*Preferred Skills:*
Object-Oriented program experience (preferred)
Trained in OpenJVS, OpenComponents and/or Connex (nice to have)
Knowledge of OpenLink Endur functionality and data model (preferred)
Refined products & crude industry knowledge
Understanding of deal life-cycle
Other skill exposures: XML, .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, ClearQuest, Subversion,
Eclipse, Crystal Reporting, CITRIX
*Useful Experience:*
Knowledge of Commodity Trading
Familiarity with front, mid, and back office trading processes
Refined products and crude oil industry knowledge
Implementation experience with any of the various trading systems including
SunGard, Murex, TriplePoint, SolArc RightAngle, ICTS Trade Capture, Allegro,
SAP Oil & Gas TSW etc.
