Business Analysts work with their business unit stakeholders to identify their business needs, translate those requirements into application designs, and test application components for adherence to design specifications. Responding to change requests and writing functional requirements to pass off to web engineers. Responsibilities: Conducting interviews and facilitating design sessions with internal clients to identify and document user needs and their impact on existing business applications. Documenting all business requirements, as well as any questions and assumptions made during the requirements gathering process. Creating functional designs Working with the development team to resolve any issues. Creating reports for top management. Characteristics: Managing the needs and requests of multiple constituencies Apply knowledge of business systems and operations to analyze requirements/designs and suggest appropriate improvements. Drawing on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Excellent written communication skills. Flexible and adapts well to a constantly changing environment. Customer service orientation. A strong critical thinker and problem solver Required education and experience: Bachelors degree preferred.
