*Salary Range: $56-97k* *Direct Hire (citizen, green card or EAD)* * * *Job Description * This position will provide for analysis and technical design in the development and maintenance of Web based applications and services necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of the Client. The incumbent will also provide leadership of technical teams on major projects that involve system development integration in existing modules as well as research for and implementation of new technologies *Minimum Qualifications:* This position requires demonstrable skills and knowledge commensurate with the role of Sr. Java EE Lead Software Developer in the following areas: *4+ years of experience in the following areas:* Java programming language and related object oriented software design techniques, architectural patterns and methodologies Technical leadership of project development teams and mentorship of junior developers Open-source Java EE frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse and ant. Knowledge of and experience with web design and development including technologies such as HTML, XML, Cascading Style Sheets, web standards, Internet protocols, web graphics formats, site design/management tools, source control management systems such as Subversion, and consideration of cross-platform compatibility issues. Relational database concepts and structures. Experience with Oracle is important Command of object-oriented programming and application design concepts User interface, information architecture, and usability concepts and techniques *As well as commensurate experience in the following areas:* The various components of the system architecture in which an application is deployed, including the server software environments, the database and file systems, networking concepts, distributed application considerations and security concerns Web browsers/clients, in particular their various capabilities and shortcomings, to ensure that web applications function in a broad array of client environments. Principles of application security and of how to apply those principles to coding and testing practices.
