The candidate must be capable of performing the following functions: - Lead complex/major efforts involving the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of computer programs and/or application components. - Hands on development, capable of debugging the system and fixing the production related issues. - Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions. - Recommends solutions that are aligned with business/IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. - Resolves complex application and technical problems. - May serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives. - Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies; Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff. - Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes. - Ability to lead technical project teams. - Performs software architecture and systems design.* * * *Tasks and Responsibilities: * *Experience in financial service industry with good knowledge of investment management is a must Excellent problem solving abilities Strong Business intelligence experience using OBIEE is mandatory. Expertise in Datawarehousing and Dimensional Modeling Experience with Oracle OLAP, Data Integration and Data Quality tools is a big plus. Experience with JAVA/J2EE is a big plus Experience with SQL Server is a big plus Experience with real estate and mortgages are a HEAVY PLUS. Candidate must posses strong work ethics, should be a self starter and must posses strong written and oral skills.
