JAVA ARCHITECT/ DEVELOPER
Project location- New York
Duration – Long Term
Job requirements:
Nature of the project: to be the part of Technology Infrastructure Software
Development. You should have a strong Java and database development
background with experience encompassing the full software development
lifecycle. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, design,
architecture, implementation and support for software solutions in
Technology Infrastructure. You must have solid oral and written
communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable in a technical
leadership role in a geographically diverse environment
Skills: Business analysis skills in solving complex problems. Strong
technical skills in the following areas required: Java: JSPs/Servlets, MVC
(Struts, JSF), JDBC.
Database: SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers. Additional skills in the
following areas preferred: Java: JMS, JAXB, Junit, Spring, Hibernate.
Database: IBM DB2 UDB, Sybase ASE, MS SQL Server; ER. Modeling: ER
(ERStudio, ERWin, RDA/IDA), UML (EA, Jude). XML: Schemas/DTD, DOM XSL,
XSLT. Messaging: Point-to-Point, Pub/Sub. J2EE: Tomcat, JBoss, EJBs.
Misc: Ant, CVS, Solaris Unix, Shell script, Perl. Strong inter-personal
and communication skills; making presentations to customer or client
audiences or professional peers, and working independently on problem
solving
Exposure to project management in an enterprise application development
environment.
