Technical Business Analyst - recent Banking exp is required
Auburn Hills, Michigan
6 months Contract
Rate: DOE
Required skills and abilities:
. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field -or- 10
years equivalent work experience is required.
. 8 or more years of technical project management or business
analysis experience.
. Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and
documenting business processes.
. 8 or more years of experience in facilitating evaluation of
business requirements for business application integration, service
activation, delivering new or modified software systems enhancements..
. 8 or more years experience performing within the System
Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
. Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
and MS Visio.
. Must be able to create detailed charts and graphs and work with
pivot tables.
. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
. Ability to communicate technically complex IT concepts to business
clients.
. Candidates selected for interviews, will be required to supply a
representative sampling of their writing in the form of business
requirements and memorandum directed to senior management. The samples
provided must have been written within the last 12 months.
. This individual shall be organized and detail oriented.
. Experience with various web-based and mainframe technologies.
Preferred skills/experience:
. Compuware Optimal Trace experience.
. Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP R) or other IT
certifications are a plus.
. Experience in software vendor relationship/management activities.
. Experience in Financial Industry / Banking applications (e.g.
Treasury Management, check processing, Operations).
