Title: *Lead Cognos Administrator* Duration: 12+ months Location: Santa Clara, CA Start: ASAP Interview: F2F/Phone Systems Analyst required for administration, support and enhancement of the AV Data Warehouse Cognos 7.3 environment. · Duties include *administration, analysis, troubleshooting, enhancing existing reports, cubes and catalogs or developing new ones on Cognos*. · Experience on *Impromptu, Power Play, Access Manager and IWR and PPES server administration tools,* are MUST. · The Systems Analyst will work with the rest of the technical team to understand the current Cognos 7 objects, administer and support them on a daily basis, and prepare and develop any required enhancements. · An upgrade to Cognos 8 may happen during the course of the assignment and the Systems Analyst may become the support person for the Cognos 8 environment. ü Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of formal IT development / systems configuration experience. ü *Data warehouse report definition and distribution, cube generation, bursting and security processes.* ü *Experience with Cognos series 7 server configuration including Transformer, Powerplay Enterprise Server and Access Manager. * ü *Experience with report development using Powerplay and Impromptu.* ü *Experience with Cognos 7 Server Administration tools is required.* ü *Experience on multi-server Cognos install preferred.* ü *Knowledge of VBA scripting, Cognos script and C# is preferred.* ü Experience writing complex queries on Oracle database is required ü Data warehouse interface tools including Informatica. ü Knowledge of Access database is preferred. ü *Ability to follow the documented instructions and work/resolve independently.* ü Change management experience required – IT control practices, organizational change, technology adoption. -- TThanks, Suman Kumar AJEL TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
