Manage WAN configurations and provider performance analysis of WAN. . Establish wiring standards, create firewalls, and perform capacity modeling. . Requires advanced knowledge of network topologies for ISP, DSN, IP Addressing/Subnetting, routing, BGP, OSPF, CIDR, Internet Technologies, RADIUS, FRAME RELAY, Point to Point - TLS, DS3S, FRAC, BURSTABLE ATM, SMDS, Firewalls, Cisco Routers, Cascade Switches, Ascend/Cisco Network Modem Servers, Ethernet Switches, CSU/DSUS, Sun SPARCS Ultra Servers, Bay Network Hubs. . Understands TCP/IP, SNA and IPX Protocols. . 3-5+ years of related experience. Voice Engineering experience/knowledge also required. . Must be experienced with LAN/WAN networks..configuring and supporting firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers. Experience with Cisco equipment as well as Juniper.
