They need to support an application in UNIX platform that have been developed using Shell/Perl script and Java. IT Engineer II plans and executes software engineering development projects, utilizing advanced software and hardware engineering principles, software architecture, as well as various standards such as CCITT, OBF, ISO. Uses both hardware and software engineering expertise to apply theoretical principles and methodologies to accomplish complex software engineering assignments. Responsible for project planning, design, business analysis, development, test and vendor management. *Job Responsibilities:* - Planning, scheduling and executing productions applications in UNIX platform. - Preparing shell or Perl scripts to wrap a group of executable programs - Change and incident management using Remedy - Runbook creation and updates *Must have's: * UNIX and UNIX or PERL scripting Autosys Scheduling *Like to have's: * JAVA COSMIC SAS SQL VBA Macros Experience with process automation, data analysis, financial analysis a plus - They need to support an application in UNIX platform that have been developed using Shell/Perl script and Java. 2) Title: Technical Analyst/Technical Writer Duration: 5 months + Location: Washington, DC 20016 The ideal candidate will have proven technical writing skills. The ability to learn how to use new technical systems. The ability to work with technical teams to produce technical documentation. Solid technical writing skills with deliverables across the Software Development Lifecycle a must. 6+ years of relevant experience. The project is a Funded Business initiative in the BI COE that will deliver a Business Intelligence solution to the business. *Day to day activities include: *Developing technical documentation, Meeting with project team members, interacting with project team and business users to gather and document requirements. *Must have’s: * 1. Business Intelligence (Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Crystal Reports) 2. Testing experience 3.
