Below are the job details. Client is seeking a dynamic Oracle EPM/Hyperion support engineer responsible for the daily management of Hyperion applications and environments. Candidate will also be responsible for the application development/enhancement work. Position directly reports into the Business Intelligence (BI) Group. *Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: * • Perform technical incident resolution in conjunction with application and Business teams • Develop and support Essbase/Planning applications • Resolve issues related to environment (installation, configuration, patches etc) • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, willingness to work outside of normal work hours and thrive in a dynamic environment. *Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * • Hands on experience in developing Hyperion applications including Essbase, Planning, ODI, Studio/EIS. HFM, FDM a plus, but not required (3+ years) • Hands on experience in developing and supporting Essbase cubes (BSO & ASO), calculation scripts, web forms and business rules, reports (3+ years) • Experience in developing reports using Financial Reporting, Web Analysis, Smartview. Nice to have Excel VBA (3+ years) • Demonstrated experience in support/development role by collaborating with technical leads, other developers, Business partners (5+ years) • Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts, lean and agile methodologies and practices (3-5 years) • Good understanding of financial & accounting processes, month end activities • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts • Experience with SQL, MaxL/Esscmd, Batch/Perl/Shell scripting.
