Mainly working in the HW Lab *Daily Responsibilities: * Integrate Silicon, board HW, and SW. Define and write test cases and scripts to validate SW functions. Run and debug tests. How much travel: 3-5wks to Santa Clara CA and or Columbia SC in Q1'10, Year’s experience: 6 min *Required Education: BS CS or BS EE* Expertise level: Senior, will consider intermediate level skills *Necessary MUST HAVE skills: * *HW + low level SW integration * *Debug and functional/electrical validation of system level I/O. * *Develop tests and scripts in Python. (Python can be learned on the job, ONLY IF candidate is skilled in Perl, TCL, and visual BASIC, C, C++, or C #) * *Nice to have skills: * Experience with APIs, LLL (low level libraries) DAL/HAL HW diagnostics/ utilities, and Intel ITP/XDP scripting. Experience with physical (electrical) layer of high speed serial data busses such as QPI (QuickPathInterconnect), PCI express (PCIe), or FBD at speeds >4.8GT/s. Validation of receiver functions including amplifiers, integrators, equalizers, de-emphasis, comparators, phase interpolators, DLL, PLL, and filters. Experience with receiver training, initialization, jitter tolerance, debug, and margining in end-user computer platforms. BIOS development is also a potentially good background for this job as candidate must bridge between HW and SW.
