Automation efforts related to the deployment of the ticketing system and related RUBY automation. Job Description: (What will the contractor do on that project?) The candidate will work on the team responsible for authoring and maintaining the scripting framework of network automation efforts for the DSL NRC organization. Primary job responsibility is the scripting of support functions related to network events impacting customer service in the various Layer 2 & 3 networks. Additional functions include supporting various teams via automation of network-wide sanity checks, fulfillment of automation enhancement requests, and acting as a subject matter expert on Linux/Unix platforms, Perl and ILOG JRules.
