The Information Architect will plan and design how to present departmental and shared information on SharePoint sites. The Information Architect will take into account not only the purpose and goals of the clients, but also the best way to articulate those purposes and goals to the target audience. Candidates should possess the ability to research, understand and organize specialized content. Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in one or more of the following: SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, HTML and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS). Responsibilities Departmental SharePoint Sites: Develop thorough, realistic plans that support departmental objectives Work with clients to understand their business models and goals and help define strategy, content, and features for design of their SharePoint site Analyze audiences and their information and functional needs Define site architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built Functional Site (replacing PM Methodologies & KnowIT sites) Utilize the standard functional site template, wireframes and style guide to describe the intended user experience for a Functional Site Develop the logical taxonomy of the Functional Site Pl send Profiles with details below.
