Position: *Sr. Systems Analyst * Location: *Southfield**, MI*** Duration: *4 Months* *Rate: $45/Hr* Kindly read the job description thoroughly and submit properly screened consultants with *Healthcare industry experience.* * * *Note: Need candidates with prior blue cross experience.* *Position Description:* *Description:* - Brief Project Description: This project will create member discounts when provided in client Distinction facilities. - Perform analysis of Michigan benefit file within the NASCO Processing System (NPS) and any other hard coded systems areas identified by project lead. - Results of analysis will be documented in detail. - Experience with project documentation required. - Business requirements, test plans and test data will be prepared in support of approved changes. - Test execution as well as documentation of results will be required. - Responsible for detailed status reporting as well as attending and participating in project meetings. *Required Skills:* - Knowledge of *Blue cross* client benefit file.( Medical Policy, Benefit Policy, group applications, benefit books, and group policies to establish accurate group benefits by plan) - Previous experience preparing written requirements, test plans, project deliverables. - Detailed understanding of project phases. - Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills. - High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. - Strong organizational and follow-through skills, and particularly strong attention to detail. - Strong creative problem solving skills. - Demonstrated flexibility, self-discipline and ability to work independently, as well as within a group. - Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external clients. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and implementation timeframes. - Ability to interact effectively with client representatives at various levels. - Ability to perform as a self-starter, with motivation to consistently produce high quality results. *Preferred Skills: *- Minimum of 3-5 years of health care experience.
