*Technical Designer* - Custom *Primary Skill: *Application Design* *Years Experience: 2-3 Years *Additional Requirements:* Geographical Information System (GIS); business intelligence; ESRI; data warehouse Expenses: No *Work Location: *Chicago, IL* *Start Date: Thu, 1 Oct, 2009 *End Date: Fri, 1 Oct, 2010 Hours Per Week: 40 Resume Required: Yes Overtime Exempt: Yes *Full Description:* We are need of an experienced technical GIS design lead with industry GIS design experience utilizing newer GIS industry technologies (insurance industry GIS experience preferred). This person should have experience designing GIS web infrastructures that integrate GIS data with existing data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) tools and systems. In addition, any wireless technology GIS experience or routing, imagery or pictometry experience would be helpful. This person will serve on design projects developing new architectures for GIS data and web infrastructures that integrate with BI tools and data warehouse structures. This person will also serve on design efforts for newer technologies such as wireless GIS, routing or pictometry.
