Title: Data Distribution Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Data Distribution Developer 

 

§  Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of various
components of the CS Reference Data Distribution Layer.

§  Work with both in house and vendor supplied tools to facilitate data
exchange between various applications with the CS enterprise

§  Support production issues regarding data exchange between systems

Organize release and test activities working with other teams to schedule
and support their activities

 

 

The candidate will be working on the Reference Data distribution
applications. The person will get familiar with the Siena application, which
is currently the distribution system of choice for the Reference Data. The
person will be delivering modeling changes and key upgrades to the Siena
architecture. 

 

The person will also learn the new product called RDD, which is the
strategic system of choice for the ROMA architecture. Key deliverables will
be creation of transformation rules and implementing the business logic in
RDD a cross all Reference down stream systems.

 

 

Required skills:

 

·         Extensive knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Sybase, Oracle,
DB2)

·         Extensive Knowledge of T-SQL and XML data formatting

·         Experience with ETL tools, rules engines and/or data mapping
software

·         Experience with web services, messaging services and other data
exchange techniques

·         Knowledge of C# and .NET a plus
