Description
* Impact analysis for existing applications
* Design and develop applications
* Review during various stages of development life cycle
* Unit testing and System testing
* Implementation and Deployment
* Create databases, tables, indexes, stored procedures and functions
* Measure and undertake performance optimization
* Ability to respond and accept production issues and coordinate with
stakeholders
* Ability to work with customer independently, Architect, Planning &
Coordination,
* Ability to work with diverse teams
* Project Management exposure/experience
* Understanding of the end to end MCA PI solution architecture and data
flow
* Understanding of OSIsoft PI & AF architecture
* Ability to perform administrative tasks using PI administrative tools
like system manager, PI explorer etc
* Skilled in PI server to create & monitor tags, maintain configuration
tags, understanding of tag status, making bulk changes to tags and similar
tasks
* Skilled in AF to create and maintain templates, elements, calculations
and similar tasks.
* Skilled in C#.NET programming and understanding of the Archestra-AF
connector source code to be able to maintain the code.
* Basic windows administration to be able to perform required
administrative tasks on the PI development and test platforms
* Understanding of the end to end MCA PI solution architecture and data
flow from SCADA end device to PI
* Understanding of OSIsoft PI & AF architecture
* Able to use PI explorer and System management tool to monitor data in
AF and PI
* Skilled in OSIsoft PI tools for data loading and extraction and
prepare ad-hoc reports if necessary
* High level understanding of the Archestra-AF connector functionality
* Skilled in MS SQL Server database, able to perform SLQ server
administrative tasks on AF server
* Skilled in SQL
* Ability to perform data maintenance work on the PI/AF server using
best practices
Qualifications
* Knowledge of refinery and marketing (R&M) in oil and gas production
domain would be an added advantage
* Strong knowledge of OSI PI tools
* Knowledge of OSI PI specific activities like:
1. Tag maintenance (creation, modification, identification
of issues with tags)
2. Maintenance of RTPortal Web parts
3. Administration activities for PI Servers
4. Maintenance of the applications built using the PI SDK
* Good understanding of OSI PI interfaces
* Should be good at mapping client's requirements, custom designing
solutions & troubleshooting for complex OSI PI related issues.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral,
essential.
* Self-motivated, strong bottom-line and functional leadership,
essential.
* Ability to take ownership of activities and the tenacity to ensure
successful completion.
