TITLE: Business Analyst LOCATION: Washington, DC DURATION: Through end of year, then extensions Overview This group is part of Blue Cross Blue Shield's Federal Employee Program (FEP). Among other things, they are responsible for defining and writing business requirements for systems development modifications. They are looking for an experienced business analyst to join their current team. The ideal person will have a health-related background; will be capable of working with minimal supervision; and will be capable of making an immediate impact. They should also have a QA background with the Rational Tool Suite. Statement of Work for Business Analyst Experienced Business Analyst with proven background in: . Data Analysis, Test Planning, Quality Assurance . Business process modeling/re-engineering . Business Analysis . Requirements Management through-out entire SDLC . Perform data/process analysis . Develop test plans/test cases . Develop Use Cases . Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) . Develop Requirements documents . Perform quality assurance . Write supporting technical, online help & user documentation . Organizing/Leading JAD sessions Additional Skills and Experience: . Content Management Systems (CMS) . Portal . Rational Suite (RequisitePro, ClearQuest, ClearCase, etc.) . RUP Position Hours: 7.5 per day - Total 37.5 per week. Examples of interview / screening questions: How do you determine if a business requirement is correct? How do you do process re-engineering without any documentation available?
