Interview Type: Phone + In Person Client is seeking an application developer to support the development of its trading and clearing applications for its FCM business. State Street's FCM business, housed within State Street Global Exchange (SSGX) encompasses multiple business lines including futures execution, futures clearing, OTC clearing and fixed income clearing businesses. The candidate will have the following responsibilities: - Support vendor module/application upgrades and develop extensions/reports using vendor APIs - Employ core technologies and agile development methodologies in vogue in the current team - Participate in server-side development activity for back-end Java-based services using REST, SOAP or related protocols - Collaborate with business analysts, other developers, and QA team members to build and deploy applications in support of business and technical initiatives. Qualifications - A BS or BA in Computer Science or Information Technology - Minimum of 10 years of development experience - Financial service experience and knowledge of OTC/ETD derivatives strongly preferred.
