Programmer Analyst Duration: 6+ months Location: De Pere, WI (Must be EAD, GC or Citizen) Job Summary: Seeking a Sr. Programmer Analyst to design, develop and test new and existing programs associated with initiatives on our policy administration team. Required Skills: Hands on project development or other equivalent work experience in C#, VB.NET Strong skills in object oriented analysis and design Experience working with WCF and/or Web API, both as a client and as a server Solid database skills including the areas of writing complex queries, data modeling and performance tuning Knowledge of unit testing practices and how to write testable code Strong analytic and problem solving skills Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly and independently A passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest trends & technologies Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience Ideally 4+ years of hands on development experience in C# Experience with .NET’s Task Parallel Library or other experience with multi-threaded solutions. Experience in SOA and integrating multiple systems from multiple vendors Preferred Skills: Proven ability to successfully translate client/business needs into software designs Property Casualty insurance industry experience Experience in performance tuning of .NET applications They use SQL Server 2012 on the backend.
