*Interview mode: Phone then F2F* *Candidate will be Responsible for the development Cognos 8 Reports, Dashboards and enhancements to existing reports. * Effort will include working with team members and customers to define and document requirements and develop reports and dashboards based on discovery. Candidate will develop reports based on current standards and best practice. Candidate will be responsible documenting reports as part of the effort. Majority reports shall be developed in Cognos and other application embedded reports shall be developed in BIRT. Successful candidate will be taking ownership of *Cognos reports and may play a supporting role in BIRT development*. •*Skills Required - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or at least 5-6 years of related work experience.* *•Proficient in the latest version of Cognos, Dashboard Reporting, Standard Reporting, Report Optimization, Cognos SDK JAVA development, Strong Transact SQL (MS SQL Server). * •Proficient in working with *Cognos Transformer Cubes and SQL server cube.* •Proven experience in playing a lead role on Dashboards/Reporting & BI projects. •Excellent problem solving, analytical ability and debugging skills. •Effective written and verbal communication skills. •*Working knowledge of Cognos Framework Manager. * *•IBM RAD Version 6, & IBM WAS Version 6 would be nice to have* *Additional Responsibility –* •Candidate will be Responsible for the development *Cognos 8 Reports, Dashboards and enhancements* to existing reports. •Effort will include working with team members and customers to define and document requirements and develop reports and dashboards based on discovery. • Candidate will develop reports based on current standards and best practice. •Candidate will be responsible documenting reports as part of the effort.
