*SQL BI Developer* *Tulsa, OK* *1yr Contract* *Rate: $65/hr on C2C* *Need 10yrs of experience candidate!!!* *Project Title/Role: *Microsoft BI Professional: Data Modeler, Analyst. BI suite from Microsoft and draws heavily on the use of in-memory/columnar, light-weight data modeling solutions (SQL Analysis Services – Tabular Data Modeling or Microsoft BISM & Excel PowerPivot) to support a wide variety of data mart based reporting & analytics. The BI team is focused on providing reporting & analytical solutions for areas in operations and business support, generally outside of the realm of traditional Corporate Performance Management (CPM) & pure financial reporting. The BI team is in need of a skilled BI Professionals. *Responsibilities:* - Working with business analysts, learning business-rules and aspects of data to support their BI needs. Convert those business needs into BI requirements for ETL package creation and the data model. - Creating metrics, KPIs and measures to support decision making and analytics. - Performing QA - Checking the validity and business-sense of the various facts contained in the Data Model with Business Analysts. - Creating the user experience in Excel (Services), PowerView and SSRS as the solution warrants, then assisting power users in the business with the adhoc BI consumption as needed. *Qualifications:* - 5+ years of BI/data modeling development. Kimball methodology leveraged. - Strong business analysis, reporting & analytics concepts.
