*Position: Sr. ETL Pentaho Developer* *Location : Herndon , VA* *Duration : 6 months + Contract* *Responsibilities: * · Design, develop and test *ETL processes* using *Pentaho *and other *ETL tools* as necessary to bring in all needed data sources for the organization. · Design and develop solutions tuned · Deploy ETL processes from development through production including all needed environments. · Help develop architecture and solutions for overall *BI platform, involving Cognos, Pentaho,* other *BI applications*. *Education/Experience:* · Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics; · *10+ years’ experience* in the business intelligence area with Pentaho ETL development. · Any experience in the business intelligence area with DataStage ETL development would be plus. · Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills. · Must be able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the organization. · Any experience with Datameer for analytics. · Superior analytical and creative problem solving skills.
