*Requisition #: 2015-01-124, 2015-01-125* *Location: Naperville IL - NAP1* *Position Name: Naperville - Business Analyst * *Project Name: Retail Ops Data Quality * *Start Date: 1/26/2015 * *Anticipated End Date: 7/31/2015* Job Requirement: · Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, and task/workflow analysis. · Facilitates meetings and makes presentations related to business requirements and solution development. · Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and identifying the underlying needs/requirements driving user requests. · Interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Act as a proxy for business during development. · Work closely with developers and architects to define and deploy business solutions. · Be involved with all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment). · May analyze impact of proposed solution across the business and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews. · Review project deliverables, including technical specifications, test plans and scripts. · Communicates and applies project standards. · Familiarity with business process design and aid the high-level business process design efforts with assistance of the stakeholders and end users. Work with Business Architects and organization change manager to ensure organizational change communication to enable business process implementation Preferred Skills: Bachelor in Technology or Business Administration with 1 year of experience in project management, method analysis, or operations/systems analysis OR 2 years of experience in project management, method analysis, or operations/systems analysis · Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills · Excellent attention to detail · Experience with multiple software development methodologies, including agile, is a plus · PC proficiency to include but not limited to MS Office. · 2-4 years health insurance industry experience desirable Position Description: Summary Responsible for partnering with business/user group representatives to understand business processes and underlying informational and/or process automation needs. After translating those needs into formal, documented business requirements, the Business Analyst will act as a bridge from business vision into technical realization of a solution.
