Keeping abreast of new technologies Good handle on influence and persuasion to help gain consensus and meet target milestones * Qualifications: 4 year degree in Computer Science or related experience Able to interpret business requirements and programming specifications to write C# components, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)/ Web Services and Windows Services in C# *Intimate knowledge of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns. * Intimate knowledge of highly performing web based trading systems and vehicles such as Equities/Mutual Funds/Options & MLOs *Excellent verbal/written communication skills Ability to work in a cross-team environment and ensure strong collaboration Ability to work on aggressive schedules. May require work beyond normal hours (weekends or evenings) * Technical Skills 5-7 years of programming experience using C# and the Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 frameworks. Experience with Generics, Collections, Regular Expressions, delegates, object serialization and multi-threads is preferred. Familiar with XML, XSL, HTML and CSS. Able to write applications that manipulate XML using the .NET framework. *Experience with FIX Protocol and/or a strong understanding of APPIA FIX Engine * Knowledgeable of SQL Server service broker Queue and ADO .NET / other Data Access methodologies to get data from SQL Server 2005/2008/2012. *Knowledge of T-SQL to investigate data issues. Confer with system analysts, managers, technical personnel and customers to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy or feasibility, output requirements, input data acquisition, coding use and modifications and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
