*Duration: 6 months* *Send Resumes at vina...@idctechnologies.com <vina...@idctechnologies.com>* The Sr. Network Engineer will be part of the team that is responsible to provide Network engineering and Operational support our managed hosting and SaaS infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, implement, support, and manage complex data networks, including product evaluation, testing, participation in product development, and in-depth troubleshooting. Candidate should be able to support a highly available 24/7 hosting and SaaS environment. Required skills and experience • Experience in designing, implementing, operating and troubleshooting complex data networks in a multi-data center hosting and SaaS environments • Expert-level understanding of Layer 2 and 3 internetworking technologies • Sound understanding and strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, access-control lists, policy-based routing, firewalls, peering, and DNS • Significant design, implementation, and troubleshooting experience with protocols such as OSPF, MPLS and BGP in an enterprise environment • Experience working on Cisco UCS architecture, Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco Nexus 1000v • Experience with Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX and ISG firewalls • Experience with F5 and Alteon load balancers preferred • Provide Level-2/Level-3 network support in a 24x7 hosted/SaaS environment • Experience with Quality of Service in various data/voice network implementations • Expert knowledge of Cisco’s IOS, NX-OS & IOS-XR, Junipers JUNOS, ScreenOS and other major network vendor platforms • Develop procedures and policies for supporting the Global Networks, SLA's, and Network Security • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to comprehend, analyze and research problems of a complex nature, make judgment decisions and recommendations as to their solution • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership and mentoring skills • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment. • Develops and maintains scripts to enhance automation of managing the Networking and Security Infrastructure • This is a Hands-on role - Must have the ability to perform hands-on installation and management of networking and security devices • Proactively Support Engineering, Development and Lab Infrastructure Desired Skills and Experience • Working Knowledge and Experience with IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS, STP/RSTP, 802.1Q, • Cisco - Heavy experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless and Firewalls • Experience configuring and maintaining Load Balancers - F5 and Alteon • Strong practical knowledge in troubleshooting Routing and Switching problems, Protocols • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications - Design, Implementing, and Sustaining a UC Environment is highly desirable • Maintain and Support current and future Network Operations - Network Documents/Diagrams, Traffic Analysis, QoS/VoIP/Video Traffic • Team player who is flexible and able to work with both internal and external customers and can work cross functionally with Production Issues • Motivated self-starter who has the ability to lead by example and approach technical problems with creative solutions to aid the account team and business development • Strong knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications, to include IP subnetting and complex routing techniques on LAN/WAN networks and Security • Effective presentation, analytical, communications and customer relationship skills • Proficiency with Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects and associated deliverables.
