*Title : Senior IBM-WebShere Administrator Location : TX Duration : 6-months* DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one WebSphere Process Server Administrator, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC System Analyst 2 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Health and Human Services (HHSC) Enterprise IT. As part of HHSC initiatives, the worker will perform the following activities to accomplish the following goals: A. Install/coordinate installation and configure Websphere Process Server v6.1 on UNIX Platforms, upgrades, patches and fixes as required by project deadlines. B. Build out WebSphere Process Server Golden Topology with Oracle as its backend database and WAS v6.1 as the WebSphere AppServer base. C. Assist project teams with design of WebSphere Process server solutions to meet business requirements. D. Assist in development and implementation of application roll-outs and upgrades where WebSphere Process Server is affected. E. Assist developers and application support staff in testing and troubleshooting application code that uses WebSphere Process Server. F. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. G. Follow IBM recommended Best Practices for WebSphere Process Server installs and be able to document changes and procedures as needed for the building out WebSphere Process Server environments from Development to Producti WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Skills/Experience 5 Installation, configuration and administration of WebSphere Process Server v6.1on a UNIX operating system platform; experience with version 6.x required. 5 Experience with WebSphere v5, v6. 5Administration and configuration of WebSphere Process Server with Oracle as its backend Database. 5 Installation and configuration of WebSphere Process Server in a Golden Topology. 5 Documentation of WebSphere Process Server architectures and installations.
