Our client seeks a skilled Mobile iOS Developer to join a team that creates and maintains a suite of apps for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone. Currently, the team is embarking on a complete reinvention of their current application and is seeking a developer able to ramp quickly and provide technical direction and leadership to the existing team. Requirements for the Mobile iOS Developer: - A proven track record of successfully delivering iOS apps to the public with rave reviews - A strong foundation of object-oriented programming skills and deep familiarity with computer science topics including data structures and algorithms - Ability to keep up with rapidly changing platforms and awareness of the latest advances in iOS and frameworks - A keen sense of the risks, rewards and trade-offs when making technical decisions - Love of a self-organizing, agile software development team and enthusiasm for Scrum rituals - Enjoyment of close collaboration, both within and outside the team - Total ownership over the quality of his or her work and fluency in development practices that minimize bugs, including Test Driven Development and test automation - Sense for good UX practices and enjoys working with our UX team to create experiences that delight our customers Professional Experience: - 2+ years of experience as a hands-on developer - Knowledge of Swift, and ideally some experience building mobile apps in Swift - Proven expertise in Objective-C and a mastery of patterns and frameworks used on the iOS platform including UIKit, Core Data, and performance analysis - Experience writing clients for RESTful web services - Experience in Agile environments using XP, Scrum or Kanban methodologies - Bachelor's degree (MIS or Computer Science emphasis) or equivalent experience.
