Job Title: Lead Software Engineer (Java and Oracle) Work Location : Marlborough, MA. Contract Duration: 6-12+ months Job Description : 1. Client is looking for a Lead level candidate that has a combination of Leadership skills along with Java and Oracle experience. 60% of this role will involve development work and 40% will involve leadership. Out of the development piece, the resource will be doing 50% Java work and 50% Oracle work so experience with these technologies is critical. 2. Candidate needs to have experience leading a team and doing end to end development work 3. Candidate needs to be able to write Oracle stored procedures. If the candidate is stronger with Java than Oracle that would be fine. 4. Sentinel experience is a big + Min Requirements: 8+ years of experience including 5+ years of experience working on a software engineering team with onshore and offshore resources. 8+ years of proven object-oriented software design and development experience in Java-based technologies. 5+ years of proven software development experience with browser-based applications and technologies. 5+ years of proven experience with such technologies as web services, Groovy/Grails, EXTJS, XML/XSLT, Struts, log4j, ANT, Spring, AJAX. 5+ years of experience and expert-level proficiency at Database development in Oracle. 3-5 years experience working with enterprise messaging such as MQ/Active MQ messaging system and distributed computing platforms.
