Tempe AZ 3-6 month contract QA Analyst- GC/Citizen only Required Skills: • Actively engage development teams in the SDLC to ensure quality throughout the entire process • Create and execute test plans and scripts for all new functionality, regression, and stress testing conditions • Create the functional decomposition of applications as part of feature testing and develop test coverage matrices to maximize testing efficiency. Use optimization techniques to minimize the number of test cases and time effort while maximizing test coverage • Organize and facilitate reviews, inspections, and walkthroughs of test plans • Build out test repository and document all test cases • Track issues found during QA and UAT lifecycle • Facilitate UAT Process in coordination with our Business Analysts • Document test progress and incident tracking • Publish test results and progress metrics • Investigate potential defects, work with developers and analyst to isolate root cause, and drive resolution • Manage QA test tools • Ability to understand and apply Systems Architecture to test plans
Education/Experience: Experience Required Qualifications • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies • Experience with scripting tools and automated testing (e.g., coding in C# in Coded UI) • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Experience in agile software development practices • Strong customer service orientation • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • 3+ years in web application testing • 3+ years software development life cycle experience • 1+ years’ experience in Agile processes, including User Stories, Sprint Planning, Sprint Iterations • Experience in testing Microsoft.net and SQL Server web based applications • Solid understanding of Quality Assurance Methodologies • Experience in Microsoft Excel and other tools for reporting and data validation • Experience in create and executing SQL scripts for test validation Preferred Qualifications • 2+ years experience in backend process testing (database processes, scheduled jobs, other non-UI functionality testing) preferred • 2+ years’ experience in MTM (Microsoft Test Manager) preferred • 2+ years’ experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server) including work items, time logging, queries preferred • Experience with localized applications a plus Regards, Nimra Nayyab Technical Recruiter FAAZ Consulting LLC nimra.nay...@faazconsulting.com www.faazconsulting.com Please maintain correspondence electronically- based on the number of phone call inquiries we receive for every positing it is preferred to send inquiries via email *P*Please consider the environment before printing this e-mail!
