I. Scope of Service (The scope of this effort will be limited to provide
User
Interaction/visual design for Operation Portal)
Develop
· Meet with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements
· Talk to the users to better understand their needs and goals
· Evaluate comparable products, patterns and design trends
· Contribute to the existing body of personas and user research
· Articulating, and positioning the value of user research, information
architecture, content strategy and visual design
· Produce user requirements specifications, conceptual models,
storyboards/scenarios, flow charts, conceptual sketches, wireframes, design
prototypes, and design specifications
· Create wireframes that effectively communicate product function and
intent,
user interaction, and screen hierarchy.
· Develop highly polished design concepts and mock-ups to communicate
design
ideas
· Defining Information Architecture
o - Designing site functionality.
o - Organize the site content into taxonomies and hierarchies of
information
o - Creating user interfaces and navigation flow
o - Creating Style Guide
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· A portfolio that demonstrates strong design skills and describes process
· Solid understanding of user centered / interaction design principles and
practices
· Proficiency in a variety of design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator
and
wireframing tool
· Deep understanding of web and mobile responsive design
· Passionate about understanding consumer needs and designing accordingly
Additional Expertise
· Experience in a highly iterative environment
· Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize assignments and
meet
deadlines.
