*Position: Java Software Engineer* *Location: Boston, MA* *Duration: 12 months* *In-person interview in Boston will be required* - Work as a member of the software engineering team, primarily within the scope of the Client’s Central Trade Manager product, in designing, implementing and enhancing the application. *Principal Responsibilities:* - Collaborates with cross functional teams for specific Product Development efforts. Assist and provide input during the creation of business requirements and functional design. - Works with the QA staff during various phases of testing. - Develops software based on the following technologies: Java, J2EE technologies, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, design patterns, MQ, JMS, Spring, JDBC, Oracle PL/SQL - Works with source control systems for general source management (including branching and labeling) - Unit tests and delivers software leveraging tools such as JUnit, ANT and continuous build and test tools - Works with technical architects to define and document application designs and solutions consistent with the prescribed architecture. - Works with QA to test existing and new product functionality - Works with Documentation and Training teams to capture new functionality - Primary relationships will be with other members of the development team as well as members of the Cross-Functional teams, including Product Management, Product Design, Testing and Release Services and Project Management. - Tactical implementation and design decisions within the execution of a product development effort. - This role will involve making architectural decisions, technology choices, and broad-scoped design choices for the development team. *Skills:* - 10+ years software engineering experience - 10+ years Java/J2EE experience - Current/recent Oracle DB PL/SQL experience - Some past experience with C/C++ e - Work in AGILE environment - Solid Javascript/HTML experience - Proficiency in Unix, writing shell scripts - Analytical and object-oriented design skills - Significant experience in best practices of multi-tier application development using Java, SQL, Javascript/HTML, and XML technologies - Significant experience in performance monitoring multi-tier applications and identifying / troubleshooting performance bottlenecks - Significant experience with Weblogic Server - Significant experience with Websphere MQ and Websphere Message Broker - Significant experience with service-oriented architecture - Experience with JQuery a bonus - Understanding of Unix, writing shell scripts - Financial Services or related industry preferred. - Knowledge of financial industry messaging systems ( SWIFT, FIX, FpML ) a definite plus Regards *Mayank* 978-558-4666 x 103 *may...@teknavigators.com* <may...@teknavigators.com> *TekNavigators* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
