Responsibilities: • Develop software solutions based on communicated business needs. • Meet with clients to discuss and understand business needs and work processes. • Assist subject matter experts in developing business requirements and specifications. • Translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Perform risk analysis and provide reasonable estimate for the software development effort. • Perform the coding task based on the selected architecture, design, and technical specifications. • Adequately test the developed software prior to user acceptance testing, making changes as needed. • Keep abreast of latest industry best practices and technologies, incorporating them in technical solutions when appropriate. • Work with minimal instruction on day-to-day work and with limited supervision. • Work collaboratively with fellow developers, customers, and other team members. • Follow established Federal Reserve System development life cycle practices and methodologies. • Communicate effectively with business users, technical colleagues, and management throughout the application development lifecycle.
