Position: Senior Data Analyst Location: New York, NY Type: 6+ months contract Qualifications Experience/Knowledge Requirements Preferred Previous Work Experience: 6-8+ years of experience in data analysis required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Oracle, SQL Server Databases, and SQL Minimum 5 years of experience gathering business requirements Experience in both design and develop of enterprise level operational and data warehouse database systems Experience in both design and develop of enterprise level operational and reporting systems and dashboards Strong database design experience and experience with data modeling tools like Erwin etc. Experience leading design sessions Experience leading business requirements sessions Mathematical background with knowledge of pricing, risk calculation, etc. Solid experience with SQL, R programming experience a plus.
