*Location : Sanjose,CA* *Duration : Long term* *Responsibilities Include* · Develop and maintains S/W development schedules, with well-defined milestones and resource allocation for funded projects · Manage and track program risks, schedules, technical issues, and negotiates priorities against project plans to ensure key internal and external deliverables are met · Prepares high quality presentations and les Operating committee and executive committee to communicate program status, communicate program risks, present trade offs · Provide effective communication regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks and plan execution to management, the product development team and customers · Collect status from Project Managers and prepares Program status and presents that to Management. Coaches Project Managers for providing effective project status · Oversee integration of software from multiple organizations · Lead and drive internal cross functional teams to meet program deliverables and quality criteria according to program milestones. · Support and drive continuous improvement to an established product development process · Lead Change management processes · Contributes to Software development processes, agile processes, Continuous Integration and Continuous Development processes *Qualification:* · 5+ years as a Software IT Program Manager in Identity & Access or related space managing complex technical projects interfacing with software engineering and quality assurance teams · Prior experience in Cisco as a Program Manager or Project Manager. Should be able to get references from Cisco Managers. · Have experience as IT Program Manager managing fast paced software development teams · A strong SW background, with experience in SW development and delivery for one or more of the following environments is required: Java, UI, SQL, SW tools for Mobile Platforms · Should be proficient with project/program management tools such as MS Project, JIRA/Rally, agile methodologies and bug tracking applications · Requires leadership with excellent communication, organizational and people skills, and the ability to work across functional groups · Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics for software development, test execution, bugs, issues, risks, and other aspects of project and program management.
