                Sr Infrastructure Specialist (Windows Admin) for a company
in Horsham PA.

Contract only
6 months in length
Green card or US citizen

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform first-level and second-level troubleshooting of hardware,
software and network problems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network, PCs, software, and printers.
• Analyze and solve network and computer desktop issues using appropriate
tools (GHOST, Dameware, MMC etc.).
• Maintain inventory of software licenses, constantly keeping them up to

• Monitor helpdesk, resolving all requests in an efficient manner.
• Administer and troubleshoot the internal VoIP phone system for all DIA
(headquarters and regional offices) including voice mail setup, cable
management and number management.
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network
• Provide desktop support for various Business Critical applications
(RightFax, Personify, MS Office, Acrobat, InDesign, Citrix XenApp, etc.)
• Provide users with network technical support.
• Perform weekly backup maintenance including tape rotation and monitoring
of backup jobs.
• Monitor systems performance and remediate as needed.
• Perform cable management.
• Promptly alert Infrastructure Manager of potential security issues,
service outages, and server/hardware faults.
• Respond to the needs and questions of users concerning their access to
resources on the network and coordinates resolutions with the
Infrastructure Manager.
• Communicate effectively by answering telephones courteously and with a
pleasant tone of voice. Create and maintain effective employee, vendor, and
client relationships by providing timely, accurate responses, and
service-oriented offers of assistance.
• Carry out written communication in a professional manner and according to
accepted business practices. Use courteous language and positive tone in
all written communications so that anything composed by this incumbent
reflects a service-oriented philosophy.
• Keep abreast with latest professional and trade information by
subscribing to and reading trade periodicals and researching trends.
• Is the back up to the Infrastructure Manager in his absence.
• Provide 24x7x365 systems support and worldwide regional office support as

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Information Systems or similar
field preferred, relevant work experience in lieu of education is
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, Windows
2008 R2 Server, Windows 2012 Server, Windows 2012 R2 Server Windows XP,
Windows Vista and Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Active Directory, File
and Print services and Hyper-V
• Working knowledge of common network technologies: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP,
Routing, IPsec, VPN, etc.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server,, Exchange, RightFax, SharePoint, Citrix
XenApp,, SSH, Symantec Endpoint, and Symantec BackupExec.
• Working knowledge of Cisco iOS, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Catalyst
switches and Cisco Access Points. Cisco certifications a plus
• Working knowledge of EMC VNx SAN a plus.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Expert level experience with hardware and software installations
• Can troubleshoot majority of software, hardware and network issues
without assistance.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Server Infrastructure (MCSE)
preferred. Additional certifications a plus (Cisco, Citrix, databases, etc.)
• Ability to resolve customer issues remotely.
• Required to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate and problem-solve in a productive, rational, and
non-emotional manner using language and tone of voice that promotes
interpersonal relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational & time-management skills.
