*Position : Security Analyst* * Location : Bowie MD* *Duration : 6+ Months Phone / Skype * *Job Description* The client develops cutting edge software solutions that help revolutionize the Healthcare Informatics industry. Our sophisticated tools are used to enhance the clinical quality outcome, care management and financial efficiency of our clients. We are seeking highly qualified professionals that will contribute to our ongoing growth and success. A successful candidate will be familiar with industry relevant regulations such as HIPAA, Hi-tech, HI Trust, etc. and how to apply where appropriate as it relates to active investigations. The candidate will also ideally have had some investigation background/experience through either law enforcement, military, or information security environments as well as understands basic questions to ask as part of the investigation process. - Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to compose email, technology communications, and executive level reporting and summaries; - Monitor support and coordinate reporting of security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities; - Assign an Incident Investigator (as needed); - Maintain the Incident Tracking Sheet, chain of custody forms, investigation summary report, and other relevant forms identified; - Assist with Incident Response metric reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and Ad-hoc basis; - Assist with securing all relevant artifacts obtained as part of investigations to include evidence preservation that would be needed as part of a potential forensic analysis; - Preparing all NEW Incident notifications to be sent out by the Incident Investigator within the SLA; - Assign a unique identifier to each security incident in accordance with the standard incident types; - Ensure interim and final client notification tracking sheet is maintained with current client business associate agreement (BAA) details; - Prepares attestation letters, fax, and uploads to appropriate investigation folders; - Tracks performance metrics to measure how well the client is meeting incident reporting SLAs; - Perform root cause analysis. Surface any patterns observed to the Sr. Incident Manager for review with the Security Council; - Maintain all documentation in a secure manner; - Track after actions and ensures they are transitioned to appropriate operational teams to fix to include application security, security operations, and portfolio management; - Assist in monitoring, analyzing, detecting and responding to physical security, PHI and computer incidents; - Effectively communicate relevant IT-related information systems are compliant with appropriate corporate policies, industry standards, government regulations, and contractual requirements; and - Stay abreast of the latest thinking, technologies, and security literature. - Associate or Bachelors in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related discipline or work experience; - Security + or CISSP, or related industry cert desired or attainable within first 6 months; - Must be a leader, self-motivated individual who sees tasks to completion; and - Experience or desire to learn in the areas of Project/Program Management, Cyber Security, Enterprise Risk Management, IT Security Incident Response Management, Security Audits, Privacy Assessments, Computer Forensics. *Regards , * *Kailash Negi* *VSG Business Solutions* *Phone: 302-261-3207 x 102* *Email : kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com <kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
