The primary responsibilities of the position are: 1. Investigate and resolve software issues and defects reported by business users and others. 2. Analyze and document business requirements 3. Investigate and resolve software issues and defects reported by business users and others. 4. Work with technical analysts to research problems and find and implement solutions. 5. Test software to ensure it meets specifications and identify any defects 6. Support and execute functional business events. 7. Run simulations of business event processing 8. Communicate issues and status to management and others *Essential Skills:* Hands-on experience with CGI Advantage Accounting system highly desired. Knowledge of accounting business processes and practices required. Government accounting experience desired. 2 years experience supporting users of an accounting system. 2 years analysis experience using tools such as: Oracle, SQL, Crystal Reports, MS Access, Excel. Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
