Role : SAP SD with Variant Configuration
Work Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : long term
Job Description: SAP SD
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT
Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP SD along with FI integration in a
manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience in a paper industry
a plus.
Experience in integration with customers, suppliers, transportation
providers (3PL/TMS), mill and/or warehouse management systems using IDOCS.
Experience in setting up partner functions and hierarchy is required.
Experience implementing EDI 850, 855, 856, 810 documents is desired.
Experience in Variant Configuration is a plus.
Experience in other supply chain related modules is a plus Experience in
full life cycle implementation and/or upgrade required
Experience as an operational or project team lead required basic project
management skills desired
Strong business acumen and in-depth knowledge of order management processes
required.
Proven effective strategic planning and analytical skills Strong skills in
problem solving and critical thinking Excellent time management skills and
ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proven interpersonal and
communication skills, including effectively influencing and coaching
Ability to converse in French a plus Strong teaming skills, ability to work
with diverse teams, multiple organizational levels and across business
functions Areas of knowledge and skill set required for new
recruit/contract position
Creation of output for sales and transportation including
deliveries/ shipments/ packing list and
Bill of Lading
Hands on experience with Customer master data
migration/conversion
Previous experience with data uploads using LSMW and BDC.
Updating existing documents with new data and partners
Creation and modification of idocs, field mapping of idocs.
Experience with the rebate process (worked on previous
assignment where rebates was a part of implementation).
Experience with consignment process is also helpful.
