The Recruiting and Onboarding project is for deployment and use of Oracle
Taleo project.  The project involves implementation of Taleo SAAS modules
for Recruiting, Onboarding, and Training.  It is important that the
implemented system meets all client Requirements.  It will be completed in
two phases.



*Roles & Responsibilities:*

·         Lead the accessibility efforts to completion by coordinating,
facilitating all stakeholders: State Core Team, Systems Integrator, Oracle,
and other state agencies like Massachusetts Office on Disability (MOD),
Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MOB), Information Technology
Division (ITD)

·         Develop project accessibility plan

·         Review Systems Integrator Test Plan and Test Results; make sure
that proper testing is done and issues are addressed

·         Design, Develop Test Plan for accessibility testing

·         Execute Test Plan

·         Assist in prioritization and addressing testing issues

·         Develop all Accessibility Documentation as needed

·         Report to project manager on accessibility efforts status



*Required Skills:*

·         3+ years working and 1+ year of consulting in the field of web
accessibility.

·         Experience in public sector (state, city) agencies is preferred.

·         Understanding of the current accessibility environment:

·         Familiarity with legislative and industry-based standards
such as W3C/WAI
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, WAI-ARIA, and ADA Section
508 guidelines.

·         Active participation in professional web accessibility circles,
with experience organizing discussions, groups, and initiatives.

·         Proficiency with modern front-end web development (including HTML,
CSS, and JavaScript).

·         Knowledge of web architecture (including asynchronous
interactions, JavaScript middleware, and application development).

·         Experience with assistive technology such as JAWS, NVDA, Voice
Over, and Window Eyes, as well as accessibility features in Windows and Mac.

·         Familiarity with commercial web accessibility evaluation and
reporting tools.

·         Understanding of user experiences (including complex online tasks
and mobile- and device-centric interaction).

·         Track record of successfully applying accessible design
principles to the web development process.

·         Experience with accessibility in COTS package environments.

·         Experience in SAAS implementation is preferred.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Collaboration and organization skills to work across multiple
teams
