Role : Senior Software Engineer (*Technical* *Lead Java with Spring*) Client Industry: Education Location: Lynchburg, VA Duration: 3 months with extension Start Date: Immediate Interview date: Daily Rate: $60 Must have experience on below technologies: · *Pervious experience in Education Industry is a big big plus* · *Toplink* · *Spring MVC* · *Hibernate*** · Working with poorly defined *Oracle 11G Database* without constraints · *Maven* · Oracle *ADF* (Application Development Framework) · Exposure and some understanding of BANNER ERP is a plus *Scope & Responsibilities:* · Client is migrating several of its Cold Fusion applications to Java SPRING Framework. · Consultant must be able to build complex Java Spring implementation without supervision with referable experience to lead the effort and the internal team · Consultant will review the current migration project and insure that it is employing good techniques and best practices. · Consultant should offer advice to the team who has completed the initial Java Spring project. · Consultant should be able to guide a second team of experienced Java Developers with best practices as they migrate their first applications to Java Spring · Consultant will migrate a medium sized project as secondary priority and attempt to make it a model project with good commenting and clean coding. · Client is looking to use ADF for some development based on RAD capabilities · Client is hoping that its persistence layer can be reused regardless of ADF or Java Spring implementation.
