Role:           Oracle OCM Configuration Consultant with DBA Experience
Location:           Chicago, IL - or REMOTE work
Duration:              6 months
*Interview*:          1st phone Screen.  2nd phone interview and/or Skype.

Need an experienced Oracle OCM subject matter expert to​ review client’s
preproduction readiness plans and provide guidance and recommendations
by performing
the following services:

Conduct a preliminary meeting and orientation;
Review client’s service request management process and provide
recommendations on engaging Oracle Premier Support;
Provide recommendations for client’s existing Oracle Configuration Manager
Setup (“OCM”) instance to setup automatic and/or OCM-assisted service
request (“SR”) logging;
Review up to three (3) of client's internal plans to be selected from the
following: a. setup and configuration plan; b. migration plan; c. backup
plan; and/or d. test plan.
Generate a final report of preproduction readiness recommendations; and
Conduct a final meeting to review the report.

Go-Live Support:
SME will assess  client’s readiness to commence production operations
(i.e., to process live data, “Go-Live”) of all of client’s licensed Oracle
products associated with client’s deployment or implementation (“Deployment
Environment”) and provide additional assistance by performing the following
services:
Conduct a preliminary meeting and orientation;
Assess your client’s readiness for the Go-Live by performing the following
services: a. Review your client’s plans and associated schedule for
Go-Live, including your client’s plan for returning to the pre-Go-Live
configuration for the Deployment Environment in the event the Go-Live
schedule is not met; b. Conduct an operational readiness review of your
client’s planned production processes; c. Conduct an impact review to
assess the potential business impact associated with the GoLive; and d.
Develop a final report of recommendations associated with Go-Live
preparation and review those recommendations with you.
One (1) week before Go-Live, establish a Go-Live assistance plan for three
(3) continuous days, including two (2) days prior to Go-Live and one (1)
day after Go-Live;
Provide up to three (3) continuous eight (8) hour days of assistance for
Go-Live including documenting progress and status of that assistance; and
Conduct a final meeting to review the final status of Go-Live.

This is a contract position, expected to last 6 months.
