*Position: WebSphere Architect.* *Location: Detroit, MI* *Duration: 6 Months.* *Positions: 2. * *Need H1B copy* Ø The requirement is for Architect extensive experience in designing and developing web based and middle tier java applications using WebSphere App Server 7.x and above. Ø The candidate should have strong knowledge and experience on frameworks such as Struts, Spring and Hibernate. Ø He/She should have experience in building EJBs and SOAP based Web Services. Ø Must have experience as a architect who can design the application based on a requirement. The candidate should be able to work well within diverse team of developers, leads, project managers, subject matter experts and be able to perform planning, design and development activities for banking systems. Architect / Development duties will include (provide as much details as possible): - Work with BA and Architects to get the requirement, analyze and work as architect to design the application. - Design, assist in technical lead and ensure smooth implementation of Java web applications and middle tier applications using IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.x and above. - Design and develop JEE components using spring and hibernate frameworks. - Advice on and create best case practices that offer maximum performance and scalability. - Have good understanding of requirements and provide estimates for design, and development of required functionality. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Ensure quality of deliverables. - Interface with other technical leads/developers to perform design and code walkthroughs. - General knowledge of system development life cycle. - Experience working with multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment. *Basic Technical Requirements* - Experience as an application architect mainly as for a J2EE & WebSphere applications. - Extensive experience in designing and building for JEE applications using WebSphere application Server 7.0& above - JSP, Servlets, EJB3.0, MQ Series, JMS, XML and XSLT. - Experience on frameworks struts, spring and Hibernate. - Ability to work well independently or in a team environment. - Experience working with design best practices and industry standards. - Expert understanding of HTML 5, CSS3 and JavaScript. - Experience working with AJAX, jquery or other JavaScript frameworks. - Cross browser compatibility standards. - Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position. - Work cross-functionally using agile methodology. - Experience working with IBM portal server is a plus. *Desirable Skills* - Extensive experience as a architect and Java SME. - Exposure to the banking industry. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
