*Job Title: Java UI/UX Design Technology Analyst * *Primary Skill: JAVA* *Duration: 6 Months * *# of Positions: 1 * *Position Type: Contract * *Location: Salt Lake City* *Job Description* Serving as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops Java/J2EE Internet-based applications This position is a Java user interface specialist responsible to ensure all client-facing UIs are intuitive, visually appealing, user friendly and consistent with AXP standards as well as product look and feel Writing code and unit tests, automation, and conducting code reviews and testing Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement Working with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues Proactive & dedicated self-starter. Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Work closely with product managers, back-end and other front-end engineers to implement versatile solutions to tricky web development problems Quickly generate and updating HTML prototypes from UI concepts for testing and team feedback Finalizing HTML prototypes into Web Applications by integrating with back-end services and functionality Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices in order to push the limits of what a browser can do *Qualifications* - 3+ of software engineering experience working with Web Based Applications and UI/UX applications in various domains. - 2+ years specialization & proven track record in User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) design and technologies - Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
