*FRONT-END DEVELOPER (AngularJS)* 6 – 12 months , NYC interview: F2F We are looking for a passionate and talented Front-End Developer to create exemplary and interactive brand experiences for our clients. We are seeking someone with the skills and experience to code custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Expertise writing semantic, modular front-end code adhering to the W3C coding practices is a must. Understanding of the concepts of progressive enhancement, mobile first and future friendly design highly encouraged. *Abilities* The developer needs the following skills, knowledge and capabilities: • Skills and Knowledge o 3+ years of Front-End Development o Strong experience with HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, Sass, LESS, W3C o Strong experience with cross browser/device responsive development o Experience with AngularJS o Experience with Linux environments o Experience working with Photoshop to save images for web o Experience with performance optimization tools such as YSlow or PageSpeed o Understanding of SEO best practices o Good interpersonal and communication skills o Experience with custom themes in Drupal and/or Wordpress (preferred) o Basic understanding of PHP, Python or Ruby (preferred) o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disicipline (preferred) • Competencies o Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities o Skilled at collaborating with team members and clients o Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to be part of an experienced team at one of New York's most well respected digital agencies.
