5-6 MONTHS Must be available for 24/7 on Rotations Job Requirements: Ability to perform and assist less skilled team members with the following tasks: · Resolution of helpdesk tickets · Monitoring Alerts for Database and Applications · Database and Applications backups monitoring · Any day to day ad-hoc monitoring requests · Start/Stop database and other Apps services · Account and role administration · Database and applications Cloning and refreshes · Database Patching · Application Patching · Peripheral Applications Support · Applications Support · Release management/Change Management (Data fixes, migrations to production) execution Information Technology Core Skills - Experience supporting application and database administration of large database and applications implementations. - Strong Apps DBA skills - Experience with Oracle ERP applications Release 11.5.9/11.5.10 - Experience with multiple large Oracle ERP upgrades (11.5.4 to 11.5.9, 11.5.9 to 11.5.10) etc… - Experience supporting Database Rel. 8i/9i/10g/11g - Strong Database and Application Patching, Ability to perform Pre-patch analysis and identify dependencies - Oracle 10g Grid Control - Oracle Enterprise manager - Other Database monitoring tools - Handling very large database backup/recovery - Experience working with NAS and SAN solution. - Backups/recovery using Client# snapmirror/snaprestore technologies - Good knowledge of Oracle database, applications and concurrent manager parameters and tuning - Experience supporting Oracle ERP with Single Sign-on using OID rel. 10.1.4.3 - Good troubleshooting skills - Experience with shell scripting, BPEL, SQL*Plus & PL/SQL programming and troubleshooting - Must have experience with satellite applications like Sabrix, Markview, Optio and Agile. - Experience supporting during critical periods (month-end, qtr-end, year-end and other critical activities) Education and Experience: · 10+ years of Oracle ERP technology Administration work · At least 4 years of operation support of Oracle Databases technology · At least 3 years of lead experience · Quality driven · Works under pressure well · Ability to drive one’s own work. · Client# filer (storage tool)knowledge a plus · Flexible and willing to carry pager and be on call for a 24x7x365 production and operational database and application support. · Very good analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. -- Regards Mohan Rao 630-242-3952 ext 217 moh...@aesinc.us.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
