Position : Sr. Systems Analyst - Patient Access

Location : Long Island New York.

Duration : 1-2 year contract



Senior Systems Analyst, Patient Access with the following background and
responsibilities:

1.     Minimum of *three years of Healthcare Patient Access Application
experience*, including appointment scheduling, patient admissions,
outpatient appointment check-in, transfers, discharges

2.     Provide technical and application support of the Project Access
Patient access applications (not necessary, but Siemens Soarian and G.E.
Centricity Business experience beneficial).

3.     Experience with reporting, form generation and application printing
beneficial.

4.     Participate in Application workgroups & business functional team
meetings to drive decisions that meet both system and workflow requirements.

5.     Define, develop and test Patient Access application build and
changes through standard SDLC.

6.     Work with the Project Access Patient Access team (IT and Business)
leads to evaluate, approve and deliver requested system changes.

7.     Facilitate the process to develop the plan to meet both the
technical and security requirements.

8.     Help develop, test and maintain requested Patient Access reporting

9.     Work with the Security team on necessary design, build and
maintenance of application security related items.

10.            Work with enterprise infrastructure team to help develop and
maintain a system architecture to support connectivity of the health
systems various applications.

11.            Work with the integration team to build, test and maintain
integration points to ancillary applications.

12.            Participate in other work teams as appropriate.

13.            Prepare and maintain detailed system documentation.

14.            Create and maintain Business Continuity procedures.

15.            Provide ongoing technical support and guidance.

16.            Be part of the 24x7 support of the applications and helping
troubleshoot problems when they surface.

17.            Research requested changes to ensure feasibility (e.g.,
confers with experts).

18.            Excellent Communication skills and ability to work closely
with clients.
